When you apply for some of the cards on this site through our links, the issuer (or its affiliate network) may pay us a commission. That compensation is how we intend to keep the site running without charging you. Today no card on this site pays us. The moment one does, that card’s own page will say so.

Money never touches the math

Every ranking on Well Dealt comes from one thing: the dollars-per-year math on the numbers you enter. Cards are ordered by what they are worth to you, not by what they pay us. Some cards we recommend pay us nothing at all. They are listed because the math says they belong there.

What compensation does affect

Compensation can affect which cards we are able to link to directly, and Well Dealt does not include every credit card available on the market. Where we cannot link to a card, we still show it when it earns its spot.

Our editorial line

Issuers do not write, review, or approve our rankings or our math. Card details are collected from issuer websites and public documents, and we date-stamp when we last verified them by hand. A daily script re-reads those pages and carries its own, separate date, covering only the figures it watches. Always confirm the current terms on the issuer’s site before applying, because offers change.
